If you have your Wisephone II and are excited to get started, you're in the perfect place! Below, you'll discover a handy step-by-step checklist arranged just right to help you avoid any delays or hiccups along the way.
Begin by gently unpacking your Wisephone and pressing and holding the side button (see image below to locate power button) to switch on your device. Then, connect your device to WiFi (see step 2).

Get familiar with the Wisephone II Hardware

Connect to WiFi:
Unlock your screen by swiping up, then tap Setup, then Open Wi-Fi Settings to toggle on and select your network.
You may notice some updates happening, which can make your device feel sluggish during this time. Don’t worry, that’s completely normal!
QUICK TIP: Adjust your screen timeout to prevent interruptions.
Go to Settings > Open System Settings > Display > Screen timeout > choose a longer time.

Wisephone Portal Setup:
A. Tap "Setup" on the home screen
• Select Get Started → Verify age
• Choose "Sign up" to create your new Wisephone portal account.
• Enter the name, email, and phone number of the account owner–this can be you or a
trusted person (such as a parent or accountability partner) who will manage the device
Note: The account created here becomes the device manager for all connected devices. You can update the manager’s phone number later by tapping "☰" in the top-right corner and editing the account details.

B. SMS Authentication
• Enter the verification code sent to your phone number to confirm your account
• Tap Get Started to attach your device(s)
C. Enter the following:
• Wisephone IMEI (located at the bottom of your tube)
• Phone number (E.g., no number yet = 123-456-7890 – you can update this later if needed)
• Give it a name
• Done – this Wisephone is now linked to your account.
Note: To reopen the plan selection pop-up, tap “Activate Plan” next to the appropriate device.
D. Choose your subscription plan:
I. Select Activate BYOC Plan if you plan to use your own carrier.

II. Select Activate All-in-one Plan to sign up for Wisephone carrier service and activate your included Wisephone SIM card. Helpful Articles:

E. Complete Device Setup
If you chose the BYOC plan:
• You’re already on the Devices page — just tap Manage Device to continue
If you just activated the All-in-one plan:
• Tap the X in the top-left corner to return to your home screen, then tap Setup to go back to the
Devices page
• From there, tap Manage Device to continue
Next step for both:
• Open the Features tab to turn on the options you want.
Note: When you turn on Tool Drawer, a new tab called Tool Management will appear. It lets you browse and search approved third-party apps if you prefer not to have direct Tool Drawer access on your device. It may take a moment for toggled features to load on your device.

Connect To Your Cellular Service
For eSIM (A16 or later) installation, follow the steps in this guide.
For those with a pSIM, simply insert your physical SIM card into the SIM tray to connect with your cellular service.If your cellular service isn’t connecting properly, check the troubleshooting steps HERE.
📢 Note: iPhone 13+ users with eSIM may need a physical SIM from their carrier when using the Galaxy A15 model.

Set up Voicemail:
It's time for you to access your voicemail. This step is important, especially for those who have just activated a Wisephone carrier plan.
• Reach out to your carrier if you need to reset your voicemail password.

Turn Off Messaging Features:

Turn RCS Chats On:
The steps are simple, and it's usually recommended if you know you'll be messaging others who use Apple devices. Follow this guide to toggle the setting on now.

Learn How to Close Apps:
The multitask button isn't available because of Wisephone's simple design. Pressing the back button will close any open app. You can also force-close background apps via Device Care in System Settings by selecting “Optimize Now”.

Adjust Side Power Button
Simply go to Settings > Open System Settings > Advanced Features > Side button > Long Press > Select Power off menu to access your power menu when holding your side power button.
Tip: You can also open the power menu by swiping down with one finger from the top-right corner of your screen to access the quick panel, then tapping the power icon located at the top center.
