Have you recently received a notification indicating that you've used all your data, even though you still have some remaining on your plan or have an unlimited plan? This issue might be easily resolved by adjusting a setting on your Wisephone.
Note: Always confirm with your carrier to verify your data balance. If you are using Techless service, you can log into your dashboard to check your data usage and add additional GB if needed.
Follow the steps below to adjust your data settings:
- Go to Settings > Connections > Data usage
- Tap "Billing cycle and data warning"
- Turn on "Set data warning" by tapping the toggle switch
- Select "Data warning" to adjust the amount of data usage in GB that will activate a warning
• Enter the number and tap Set - You're done, but to set a hard limit that will cut all data usage, turn on "Set data limit" by tapping the toggle switch
- Tap "Data limit" to set the amount of data at which your mobile data will be automatically turned off
- Pro Tip: You can also enable Data Saver to prevent background apps from using mobile data, which can help reduce unnecessary data consumption
- Back out once and select "Data Saver" at the top
- Tap the toggle switch to turn this setting on
- If you tap on "Apps that can always use data" you'll be able to select which apps can bypass the data saver setting
- When finished, back all the way out to your home screen, and you're finished
