Every Wisephone II order comes with a Techless SIM card, and it looks like the image below. Your device requires a physical Nano SIM card. This means you will need to punch out both plastic frames to achieve the smallest size.
When you're ready to put your SIM card into your Wisephone, insert the SIM eject tool or paperclip (use caution) into the small hole next to the SIM tray.
Steps to remove your SIM tray:
-
Gather Necessary Tools: You will need the SIM eject tool that came in your kit with your phone. If you don't have it, a small paper clip or earring can also work. (<--use caution with extra items)
-
Locate the SIM Tray: The SIM tray is located on the upper left side of your device.
-
Eject the SIM Tray:
• Insert the SIM eject tool or paperclip into the small hole next to the SIM tray.
• Push gently but firmly until the tray pops out. You may need to apply a bit of force as it can be snugly fitted.
-
Remove the SIM Tray: Once ejected, carefully pull out the SIM tray using your fingers. Be cautious not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the tray or your device.
-
Insert Your SIM Card: Place your nano SIM card in the SIM1 slot, ensuring that the metal contacts face upward and align with the tray's notched corner.
Note: If you ported your phone number to Techless Service, please make sure you insert your Techless SIM card and NOT your old carrier's SIM card.
-
Reinsert the SIM Tray: After inserting or removing your SIM card, slide the tray back into the slot until it clicks into place.
Following these steps will allow you to safely remove and replace the SIM tray on your Wisephone II.
Note: If you have trouble connecting to your cellular service, follow the steps outlined HERE.
