If your music plays back on your computer but not Wisephone, here are tools and methods for converting your files to a different compatible format. Again, we suggest trying MP3 or FLAC to start.
Listen to WAV, MP3, M4A FLAC, WMA, and other audio files on your phone anytime, anywhere.
- Today, we do not support AIFF. These files can be converted with tools like iTunes and VLC.
We have also not tested the following formats: AAC, Ogg Vorbis, ALAC
(*Let us know if you have any success with the formats we have been unable to test)
- If you are converting your CDs or Vinyl music into digital files, you will need to give the files track names, artist names, and album titles. (*Please see "Music: Managing Audio Files" article for help with this)
VLC Media Player
iTunes or (Apple) Music app
For troubleshooting support, our team can only assist with issues directly related to the Wisephone. We cannot guarantee the outcome of any process involving obtaining, downloading, converting, or curating audio files that fall outside of this scope. However, we have found a third-party video that may be useful to some users using the VLC Media Player Tool.
