Music: Transferring Music Files to Wisephone

You will want to make sure you have taken a look at our article called "Music: Managing Your Audio Files To Transfer" before following the instructions below for transferring your files.

  *Please make sure you are on WiseOS version 2.2.11

Windows

1. Power on your phone and swipe up to unlock your screen.
   
   

2. Connect your phone to your computer using the Micro-USB cable provided with your Wisephone.

3. Open the File Explorer Folder and locate "moto e" in the left-hand menu pane and click on it. 

   
   
   

4. Next, click on the internal shared storage. Then,  clicking on the Music Folder.
   
   *Please do not transfer files to the Podcast folder as they will not appear on your phone
   
   

5. Once in the appropriate folder, you can drag your files directly to the desired folder on your computer. 

   
   
   

6. When you're done, eject your phone from Windows.
   
   

7. Unplug the USB cable.

Mac OS X 10.5 or later

1. Download Android File Transfer on your computer.
   
   
   

2. OpenAndroid File Transfer and drag the image onto the Applications Folder to install. 
   
   
   

3. Power on your phone and swipe up to unlock your screen.
   
   

4. Connect your phone to your computer using the Micro-USB cable provided with your Wisephone.
   
   

5. Once connected, a window will Pop up. Click "Open" to view the Wisephones Files. 
   
   
   

6. An Android File Transfer window will open on your computer. Click on the Music Folder.
   
   
   

7. Once in the appropriate folder, you can drag your files directly from your computer to the Music folder. 

   
   *Please do not transfer files to the Podcast folder as they will not appear on your phone
   
   

8. When you're done, unplug the USB cable.
